Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Combine carrots, onions, and 2 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave, 3 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave and add rice and demi-glace. Stir to combine, then top with beef and a pinch of salt and pepper. Microwave until warmed through, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. To serve, garnish with peanuts , pepper flakes(to taste), teriyaki glaze, and sesame seeds. Bon appetit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Combine carrots, onions, and 2 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with foil. Place tray on baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven, 8 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and add rice and demi-glace. Stir to combine, then top with beef and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake again covered in hot oven until warmed through, 10-12 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. To serve, garnish with peanuts , pepper flakes(to taste), teriyaki glaze, and sesame seeds. Bon appetit!
