If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Stem basil and coarsely tear leaves.Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces.In a mixing bowl, combine steak strips, pho vegetable base, a pinch of pepper, and cornstarch. Set aside. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli, pepper and onion mix, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cover and stir often until water is almost completely evaporated, 2-3 minutes. -
3 Add the Steak Strips
Uncover; add 1 tsp. olive oil, steak strips, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains on steak and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

4 Add the Sauce
Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the orange sesame sauce. Add orange sesame sauce (to taste) and soy sauce to hot pan. Stir often until combined and sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.
If too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner and stir in basil. Let rest, 3 minutes.While steak strips cook, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice and 1/4 tsp. salt. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in white portions of green onions. Rest, 2 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak strips with sesame seeds and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
