Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Cook the Turkey
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey, piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.Add diced tomatoes and stir occasionally until combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While turkey cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Trim cucumber and cut into 1/2" dice.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
3 Assemble the Salad
In a mixing bowl, combine spring mix, cucumbers, dressing, white portions of green onions, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

4 Heat Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel. If tortillas come folded, keep folded.
Microwave covered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.Alternatively, place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add tortillas, one at a time, to hot, dry pan. Heat undisturbed, 30-45 seconds per side. Remove from pan.Carefully remove from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with turkey (to taste), salad, green portions of green onions, and tzatziki. Bon appétit!
