- 1 Colander/Strainer

Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Cook Noodles and Prepare Garlic
Once water is boiling, add noodles and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.
Remove from burner. Drain and rinse noodles in a colander/strainer and set aside.While noodles cooks, mince garlic. -
2 Cook the Turkey Mixture
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add ground turkey, Italian seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.
Add garlic and stir often until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.Add tomato sauce, 1/4 cup water, half the sugar (remaining is yours to use as you please!), and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir often until turkey mixture is slightly thickened, 3-4 minutes.If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.While turkey mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Make the Béchamel Sauce and Pinwheels
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream base, mozzarella, and 2/3 the flour (remaining is yours to use as you please!). Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.Place noodles on a clean, flat work surface.Evenly divide cream base mixture between noodles and spread into an even layer. Roll bottom edge of noodles towards the top. -
4 Assemble the Pinwheels
Place half the turkey mixture (reserve remaining for topping) in prepared casserole dish and spread into an even layer.
Evenly top turkey mixture with pinwheels, seam-side down, then evenly top with remaining turkey mixture.Cover casserole dish with foil. -
5 Bake Pinwheels and Finish Dish
Bake covered in hot oven until turkey mixture is bubbling and pinwheels are heated through, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven and discard foil.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pinwheels with turkey mixture from casserole dish. Garnish with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
