Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta to hot water and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.
Drain in a colander.While pasta cooks, cook turkey. -
2 Cook the Turkey
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
3 Make the Sauce
Add 2 Tbsp. tomato paste, seasoning blend, marinara, and spinach to hot pan.
Stir occasionally until spinach is wilted, 4-5 minutes. -
4 Broil Pasta and Finish Dish
Stir 1/2 tsp. salt, pasta, Parmesan, and half the mozzarella (reserve remaining for topping) into hot pan. Remove from burner. Top with remaining mozzarella and dollops of ricotta.
Transfer pan to hot broiler and broil until cheese has melted, 4-5 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as pasta may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from oven. Handle will be hot; use an oven mitt!Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
