Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Bake the Filling

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Break turkey into small pieces. Combine turkey, corn, and a pinch of salt and pepper in provided tray. Bake uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 17-20 minutes. While filling bakes, make slaw.

    Make the Slaw

    Mix slaw mix and ranch dressing in a mixing bowl until completely combined. Stem cilantro.

    Warm Tortillas and Finish Dish

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in half the Buffalo sauce (to taste) (reserve remaining for garnish). Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds. Fill tortillas with filling, remaining Buffalo sauce (to taste), slaw, cheese, cilantro, and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
