Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Mix rice, 1 cup water, and mirepoix base in provided tray until completely combined.Top with broccoli and seasoned salt. -
2 Add the Salmon
Top broccoli with salmon. Season salmon with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Top each salmon fillet with a butter pat.

3 Finish the Dish
Roast in hot oven until rice is cooked and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully, remove from oven. Coarsely crush walnuts. Gently spread apricot preserves over salmon and top with walnuts. Bon appétit!
