Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Broccoli

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Mince chives.

    Halve and juice lemon.

    In provided tray, combine broccoli with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Cover with foil. Bake covered in hot oven until broccoli is slightly tender, 5-8 minutes.

    Broccoli will finish cooking in a later step.

    Add the Pasta and Shrimp

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    Drain shrimp thoroughly. Pat dry.

    Add pasta, cream cheese, half the butter (reserve remaining for topping), flour, 1/2 cup water, garlic, and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Stir to combine and top with shrimp.

    Bake the Meal

    Cover tray with foil. Bake again covered in hot oven until broccoli is fork tender and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-22 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in 2 tsp. lemon juice.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine panko and remaining butter. Microwave, 20 seconds.

    Stir and microwave again, 30 seconds. Repeat until crispy.

    To serve, top pasta with crispy panko and chives. Bon appétit!
