1 Start the Broccoli
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Using hands, break broccoli into bite-sized pieces. In provided tray, combine broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 Tbsp. water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover with foil.Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes. While broccoli bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Salmon
Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add salmon, skin-side up, to hot pan. Sear until golden-brown, 2-4 minutes.Salmon will finish cooking in a later step. Remove from burner. After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in garlic and parsley seasoning and a pinch of salt. Push broccoli to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Transfer salmon, skin-side down, to now-empty side of tray. Top evenly with half the BBQ sauce (reserve remaining for garnish). -
3 Bake Meal and Prepare Green Onions
Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and salmon is firm and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
While meal bakes, trim and thinly slice green onions.Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir butter into broccoli. To serve, garnish salmon with remaining BBQ sauce (using a clean utensil) and green onions. Top broccoli with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
