To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

  1. 1

    Roast the Fries

Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry.

Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.

Carefully remove from oven. Season with a pinch of salt (to taste).

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauces

Halve lime. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

In a mixing bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, hot sauce (to taste), honey, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1 tsp. lime juice. Set aside.

In another mixing bowl, combine half the hot sauce mixture (to taste; reserve remaining for patties) and mayonnaise. Set aside.

Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.

Transfer buns to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

Remove from burner. Top evenly with remaining hot sauce mixture (to taste) and flip until coated. Rest, 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, cabbage (to taste; remaining is yours to use as you please!), mayonnaise mixture (to taste), and top bun. Squeeze lime wedges over fries (to taste), if desired. Bon appétit!
