Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

    In provided tray, combine pepper and onion mix, corn, and pulled pork. Spread into an even layer.

    Evenly top with BBQ sauce.

    Bake the Meal

    Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven until pork is heated through, 17-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Remove foil and stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Warm Tortillas and Finish Meal

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel. If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    Microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    To serve, fill tortillas with pork mixture. Garnish with cheese and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
