Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes.

    Form the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs and 2 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add turkey, garlic salt, and a pinch salt and pepper. Mix until completely combined. Form meat mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs.

    Cook the Meatballs

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add meatballs to hot pan. Cover and roll occasionally until browned all over and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 11-13 minutes.

    Carefully, drain any excess liquid. Stir in BBQ sauce and 1 tsp. water until combined, 20-30 seconds.

    Remove from burner.

    While meatballs cook, continue recipe.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot medley and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, cover and cook until water is al most completely evaporated, 3-5 minutes.

    Uncover; add garlic pepper and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir often until vegetables are slightly browned and tender, 2-4 minutes.

    Evenly top vegetables with cheese. Cover and cook until melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While vegetables cook, continue recipe.

    Prepare Green Onions and Finish Dish

    Trim and thinly slice green onions.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping vegetables with dressing and crispy onions. Garnish meal with green onions. Bon appétit!
