Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Meal

    If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine onions, 2 tsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until onions are tender, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir beef into onions. Microwave again until beef is heated through, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave. Stir cheese into beef. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit!

    If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine onions, 2 tsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Place tray on baking sheet and bake in hot oven until onions are tender, 8 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir beef into onions. Place tray on baking sheet and bake again in hot oven until beef is heated through, 10-12 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Stir cheese into beef. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit!
