In all our years providing you tasty dinners, we've never given you a beef taco salad bowl… until now. What an oversight! We know how much our customers love cheese, and cheese sauce, and this meal adds that plus poblano pepper, ground beef, fresh and biting onions, and crunchy tortilla strips. We're giving you what you love, one taco salad bowl at a time.

You Will Need
Large Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Pork 160° F
Prepare the Ingredients
Drain black beans.
Halve romaine. Hold romaine heart at root end and slice thinly. Stem poblano peppers, seed, and cut into 1/2" dice. Poblano peppers can vary in spice level; most are mild, but a few can be quite hot. Wash hands and cutting board after prepping.
Cook the Pepper
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. Add peppers to hot pan and stir occasionally until tender, 3-5 minutes.
Add the Beef
Add ground beef, seasoning rub, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-5 minutes.
Remove from burner. Transfer ground beef to a plate.
Toss the Salad
Combine romaine, dressing (to taste), and red onions in a mixing bowl.
Assemble Salad and Finish Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping salad with ground beef mixture, cheese, salsa (to taste), black beans, and tortilla strips. Bon appetit!
