Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Add chicken to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Start the Peppers
If you received raw pasta, bring 8 cups water to a boil in a pot. Once boiling, cook until al dente, 8-13 minutes. Remove from burner. Drain pasta in a colander/strainer and set aside. Wait until last step to add pasta and stir to combine.
Spray provided tray with cooking spray.Place peppers in prepared tray and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil. Spread into a single layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.While peppers bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add and Bake the Shrimp and Corn
Pat shrimp dry.
In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil.After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven.Add shrimp, corn, and 2 tsp. olive oil to tray with peppers. Stir until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.Carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid. Tray will be hot! Use caution. -
3 Add Pasta, Make Crema, and Finish Meal
Add blackening seasoning, pasta, cream base, and softened cream cheese to tray. Stir to combine. (Add pasta only if you received pre-cooked pasta or pasta cooked in Step 1.) Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.
Evenly top with shredded cheese.Bake uncovered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and cheese is melted, 10-12 minutes.While meal bakes, in another mixing bowl, combine hot sauce (to taste), 1 tsp. water, and sour cream. Set aside.Carefully remove tray from oven.To serve, top pasta with crema (to taste). Bon appétit!
