Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using 20 oz. steak strips, follow same instructions as 10 oz., working in batches if necessary. You may have leftover filling.

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Prepare Ingredients and Crisp Bacon
Stem mushrooms and cut caps into 1/4” slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces.Line a plate with a paper towel.Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add bacon to hot pan and stir occasionally until crispy, 1-2 minutes.Transfer bacon to towel-lined plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean. -
2 Make the Filling
Add 1 tsp. olive oil, white portions of green onions, steak strips, mushrooms, and garlic salt to hot pan.
Stir occasionally until mushrooms are tender, no pink remains on steak strips, and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes. -
3 Assemble and Cook the Rolls
Place tortillas on a clean work surface.
Evenly divide 3/4 the cheese (reserve remaining for sauce) and filling among tortillas, placing in center.Tuck one tortilla end under filling and roll tightly, placing seam-side down.Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Working in batches if necessary, place rolls in hot pan, seam-side down. Cook until browned, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner.While rolls cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make Sauce and Finish Dish
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mustard, remaining cheese, 2 Tbsp. water, and butter. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until cheese and butter melt, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing rolls with sauce, green portions of green onions, and crispy bacon. Bon appétit!
