Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Chicken
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry. Prepare provided trays with cooking spray.
Pat chicken dry and season all over with mushroom seasoning. Evenly divide chicken between both prepared trays.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step. -
2 Add the Bok Choy
Carefully remove trays from oven. Drain any excess liquid. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.
Evenly divide bok choy, 1/4 tsp. salt, brown sugar, and teriyaki glaze between both trays. Stir to combine. -
3 Bake Meal and Heat Rice
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.
While meal bakes, combine rice and garlic salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove trays from oven and rice from microwave. Rest rice, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.To serve, top rice with chicken and bok choy and garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
