Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes. If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes. Add protein to meal as desired.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet.

    Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" slices.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add onions to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned, 10-12 minutes.

    If pan becomes dry, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.

    Add mushrooms and garlic salt and stir occasionally until mushrooms are tender, 3-4 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Transfer vegetables to a plate and set aside. Wipe pan clean and reserve.

    Make Sauce and Bake Flatbreads

    Return pan used to cook vegetables to medium heat. Add 1/4 cup water, cream cheese, goat cheese, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir often until cheeses melt and sauce is combined and smooth, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Top flatbreads with sauce, vegetables, and mozzarella.

    Broil under hot broiler until cheese melts and browns, 5-6 minutes.

    Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as flatbreads may burn easily under broiler.

    While flatbreads bake, continue recipe.

    Dress Arugula and Finish Dish

    In a mixing bowl, combine arugula, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of pepper.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping flatbread with dressed arugula and balsamic glaze. Bon appétit!
