  • 2 tsp. Miso Sauce Concentrate
  • ½ tsp. Umami Seasoning
  • ½ tsp. Multicolor Sesame Seeds

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Chicken Mixture

    Drain chicken, pat dry, and separate pieces.

    In provided tray, combine pepper and onion mix, chicken, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove from oven.

    Add Sauce and Finish Chicken Mixture

    Stir in miso base, orange ginger sesame sauce (use less if spice-averse), and soy sauce until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While chicken mixture bakes, continue recipe.

    Heat Rice and Finish Meal

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, edamame, and umami seasoning.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.

    While rice microwaves, coarsely crush cashews.

    To serve, top chicken mixture with cashews and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
