Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

  • If using filets mignon or sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Cook, skin-side up first, in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Start Carrots and Prepare Ingredients

    Place carrots in provided tray and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil, lemon n herb seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Spread into a single layer and cover with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven until carrots are slightly tender, 12-15 minutes.

    While carrots bake, tear artichokes into bite-sized pieces.

    Finely crush crispy onions.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine artichokes, shredded cheese, crispy onions, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    After 12-15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven.

    Add Chicken and Bake Meal

    Uncover and push carrots to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in now-empty side of tray.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and drain any excess liquid. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

    Evenly top chicken with artichoke mixture. Wipe bowl clean and reserve.

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until carrots are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Stir softened plain butter into carrots until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Heat Mashed Potatoes, Make Sauce, and Finish Meal

    Place mashed potatoes in reserved microwave-safe bowl. Vigorously stir to combine.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave and vigorously stir in softened cream cheese and a pinch of salt until combined.

    In another microwave-safe bowl, combine roasted garlic & herb butter and creme fraiche. Microwave uncovered until butter is melted, 15-20 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in a pinch of pepper and 1 tsp. water until combined.

    If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    To serve, top chicken with sauce. Bon appétit!
