Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Start the Green Beans

    Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine green beans, 1/2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper in provided tray.

    Cover with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Add the Pork Chops

    While green beans bake, crush walnuts in bag.

    Pat pork chops dry, and season both sides with onion salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and push green beans to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place pork in empty space. Top pork with mayonnaise, then crushed walnuts, pressing gently to adhere.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and pork chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine cherry jam, umami seasoning, balsamic glaze, and lemon juice.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Transfer pork chops to a plate and rest, 3 minutes.

    Drain liquid from tray. Stir garlic and herb butter into green beans. Top pork chops with cherry-balsamic glaze. Bon appétit!
