  • Pepper

Before You Cook

    Prepare the Biscuits

    Mince chives. Combine biscuit mix, half the chives (reserve remaining for sauce), goat cheese (crumbling with your hands if needed), ¼ cup water, and a pinch of pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until a sticky dough forms. Divide biscuit dough into four equally-sized balls. Place dough balls, with space between, on one half of prepared baking sheet.

    Roast the Garlic, Butternut Squash, and Biscuits

    Place garlic on a piece of foil and form a foil pouch around garlic. Place pouch on baking sheet. Place butternut squash on empty half of baking sheet and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into butternut squash. Spread into an even layer on their side. Roast in hot oven until biscuits are golden brown and butternut squash is tender, 18-20 minutes. While garlic, butternut, and biscuits roast, cook chicken.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken breasts to hot pan and cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken to a plate and tent with foil. Remove from burner.

    Make the Butter and Garlic Chive Cream

    Chop half the walnuts (reserve remaining whole for garnish). In a mixing bowl, combine chopped walnuts, butter, and honey until incorporated. Set aside. Carefully, open foil pack and remove garlic. Mince garlic. Combine garlic, sour cream, remaining chives, and a pinch of salt and pepper in another mixing bowl. Set aside.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing garlic chive crema on chicken, walnut butter on biscuits, and remaining walnuts on butternut squash. Bon appétit!
