Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, follow same instructions.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Halve any large butternut squash pieces to roughly match smaller pieces.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 Tbsp. olive oil, butternut squash, a pinch of salt, and garlic and parsley seasoning.

Microwave uncovered until butternut squash is tender, 5-8 minutes.

While butternut squash microwaves, halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

Evenly spread panko on a plate.

Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with Italian seasoning and garlic salt. Evenly spread 1 Tbsp. cream base (reserve remaining for mac and cheese) on one side of chicken.

Place chicken, cream base-side down, onto plate with panko, pressing gently to adhere to one side.

Carefully remove butternut squash from microwave. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Start the Mac and Cheese

Place pasta, remaining cream base, cream cheese, half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for topping), 1/2 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and microwaved butternut squash in prepared casserole dish. Stir to combine and cover with foil.

Bake covered in hot oven until sauce is bubbling and pasta is heated through, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

While mac and cheese bakes, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1/2 cup neutral oil.

Add chicken, panko-side down first, to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.

Remove from burner and season with a pinch of salt.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

  4. 4

    Dress the Arugula

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. olive oil, arugula, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside.

  5. 5

Finish Mac and Cheese and Finish Dish

After 15-20 minutes, carefully remove casserole dish from oven. Switch oven to broiler and let preheat.

Uncover and stir mac and cheese. Casserole dish will be hot! Use a utensil.

Evenly top mac and cheese with remaining shredded cheese.

Broil under hot broiler until cheese is golden-brown, 3-4 minutes.

Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cheese may burn easily under broiler.

    Carefully remove from broiler.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Squeeze lemon wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
