Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prep

    Slice mushrooms

    Chop onions to 1-inch pieces

    Juice 1/2 a lemon

    Chop garlic

    Make Gratin

    In a medium saucepan, add 1 tsp olive oil

    Cook onions for 2/3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes

    Add garlic and cook 1 minute

    Add cream and reduce by half

    Spray a gratin dish and add onion mixture

    Top with parmesan

    Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes uncovered

    Cook Chicken

    In the same medium saucepan, add 1 tsp olive oil. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of seasoning blend and 1/4 tsp salt on chicken. Sear on each side for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a baking sheet and finish in the oven.

    Make Sauce

    Combine sour cream, juice from half the lemon, 1/2 tsp olive oil and remaining seasoning blend.
