Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Start the Asparagus

    Spray provided tray with cooking spray.

    Using your hands, break woody ends off asparagus, if necessary.

    Combine asparagus, 1 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and 1/4 tsp. salt in provided tray. Massage oil and seasonings into asparagus. Spread into an even layer. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 5 minutes.

    Add the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning and a pinch of pepper.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Push asparagus to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in now-empty side and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake Meal and Prepare Butter

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until asparagus are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, place butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until melted, 15-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove butter from microwave.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and transfer chicken to a plate. If asparagus are thinner than a pencil, check for doneness sooner. Add pesto and onion jam to asparagus and stir to combine.

    To serve, top chicken with butter and cheese. Slice chicken, if desired. Bon appétit!
