Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging.

    For best results, pierce rice bag a few times with a knife, then break up rice inside the bag.

    Mix rice, corn, and seasoning blend in provided tray. Spread into an even layer on one half of tray.

    Place steaks on empty half of tray and season with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Top Steaks

    Top steaks evenly with chipotle pesto. Sprinkle cheese over steaks.

    Bake the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until steaks reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes. Bon appétit!
