Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Prepare the Steak and Vegetables
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces.Combine steak strips, pepper and onion mix, 1 tsp. olive oil, fajita seasoning, and garlic salt in provided tray. -
2 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are softened and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

3 Finish Meal and Assemble Tacos
While meal bakes, halve lime and juice.
Stem cilantro, reserving whole leaves.Combine slaw mix, cilantro, lime juice, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Set aside.Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.To serve, fill tortillas with steak and vegetables and garnish with slaw, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and cheese. Bon appétit!
