Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging.
Mix rice and corn in bottom of provided tray. Spread into an even layer. -
2 Add the Pork and Topping
Top rice with pork and sprinkle evenly with seasoning blend.
Cover entire dish evenly with cheddar-jack cheese and cotija cheese.If using chicken, follow same instructions. -
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until cheese is melted and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 22-25 minutes.
If using chicken, bake uncovered in hot oven until **cheese is melted and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 22-25 minutes.Carefully remove from oven and top pork with sour cream. Garnish with crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
