Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine orzo, chicken base, 1½ cups water, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Top with tomatoes.

    Add the Chicken

    Top rice with chicken breasts and season chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper. Crumble cheese spread and place on chicken.

    Finish the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 30-35 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Remove chicken to a plate and spread baked cheese evenly. Top with pesto. Add butter and half the Parmesan to orzo and stir until creamy. Garnish with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!
