Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Mushrooms

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.

    In provided tray, combine mushrooms, half the minced garlic and parsley (reserve remaining for bread), a pinch of salt, red pepper flakes (to taste), and 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until tender, 10-12 minutes.

    Add Pasta and Prepare Cheesy Bread

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Add pasta, 1/3 the cheese (reserve remaining for bread and garnish), cream base, and garlic salt. Stir until completely combined. Cover tray with foil.

    Top cut sides of ciabatta evenly with 1 tsp. olive oil, remaining minced garlic and parsley, a pinch of salt and pepper, and 1/3 the remaining cheese (reserve remaining for garnish). Wrap loosely in foil, leaving cut-side of ciabatta exposed.

    Bake Meal and Toast Cheesy Bread

    Bake pasta and cheesy bread (pasta covered; bread wrapped in foil and placed directly on oven rack) in hot oven until pasta is heated through, sauce is bubbling, and cheesy bread is browned, 15-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray and ciabatta from oven. Stir in butter until melted and combined.

    To serve, top with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
