Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |

- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Cauliflower
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Break cauliflower into bite-sized pieces using hands. Combine cauliflower, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spread into an even layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes. -
2 Add the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
After 10 minutes, carefully remove cauliflower from oven and push to one side of tray.Add chicken to now-empty side of tray. -
3 Bake Meal and Make Creamy Pesto Sauce
Bake uncovered in hot oven until cauliflower is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine pesto, cream cheese, minced garlic and parsley, a pinch of salt, and 2 Tbsp. water. Microwave uncovered until heated through and smooth, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove tray from oven and sauce from microwave. Transfer chicken to a plate. Drain excess liquid from tray and stir in Sicilian sauce (to taste).To serve, top chicken with creamy pesto sauce and garnish cauliflower with shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
