Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Customize It Instructions

If using Beyond sausage, crumble into bite-sized pieces. Follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 2, breaking up until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Vegetarian sausage will not brown.

If using diced chicken, follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 2, stirring occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 2, breaking up until sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Start the Kale
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add kale, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan and stir occasionally until wilted, 2-3 minutes. -
Cook the Pork
Add ground pork and a pinch of salt to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees , 5-7 minutes. -
Make the Sauce
Add pasta, cream base, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), pesto, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir occasionally until pasta is warmed through, 1-2 minutes. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining cheese and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
