Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Broccoli

    Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry. Spray provided tray with cooking spray. Set butter on counter to soften.

    In prepared tray, combine broccoli, 1 tsp. olive oil, and garlic salt. Massage oil and seasoning into broccoli. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While broccoli bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic pepper and 1/4 tsp. salt. Gently crush potato sticks in shipping bag until resembling crumbs.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Push broccoli to one side of tray and top with bacon. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in now-empty side of tray. Top with an even layer of mayonnaise, then crushed potato sticks, pressing gently to adhere. Drizzle with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, honey, and a pinch of pepper.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, top chicken with truffle honey butter. Bon appétit!
