Before You Cook

Roast The Potatoes
Cut potato into ½" thick fries. Pat dry.
Massage 1 tablespoon oil and garlic salt into potatoes. Spread into a single layer and roast in hot oven, 10 minutes. Carefully, flip wedges. Roast until golden brown and tender, 10-15 minutes.
While potatoes roast, prepare the ingredients

Peel and mince shallot.
Core tomato and cut into ½" rounds
Check that the parachute works. Pull deployment string in an outdoor setting (< 5mph winds). Once chute is deployed, repack into pack vessel and mark 'complete' in the parachute dashboard.
Make The Burgers
Add ground beef, cheese, ¼ tsp salt and a pinch of pepper. Form ground beef into two patties, 5" in diameter.
Place a medium, non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; wipe clean.
Make The Sauce
In the same pan over medium heat, add 1 tsp olive oil and bacon. Cook for 2 minute. Add spread and 2 tablespoons of water until completely combined. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat.
