Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine mashed potatoes and cheese in one section of provided tray. Add broccoli and 2 Tbsp. water to other section. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave until warmed through, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave. Stir mashed potatoes and push to one half of section. Transfer broccoli to mashed potato section, keeping vegetables separate. Top broccoli with butter and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add beef to now-empty section. In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, demi-glace, and 1/4 cup water. Top beef with cornstarch-beef demi mixture and onion jam. Cover again with a damp paper towel. Microwave until beef is warmed through and gravy has thickened, 2-3 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir beef to combine. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine mashed potatoes and cheese in one section of provided tray. Add broccoli and 2 Tbsp. water to other section. Cover with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until cheese is melted and broccoli turns bright green, 10-12 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir mashed potatoes and push to one half of section. Transfer broccoli to mashed potato section, keeping vegetables separate. Top broccoli with butter and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add beef to now-empty section. In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, demi-glace, and 1/4 cup water. Top beef with cornstarch-beef demi mixture and onion jam and cover with foil. Bake again covered in hot oven until beef is warmed through and gravy has thickened, 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and stir beef to combine. Bon appétit!
