Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
Seafood 145° F |
Chicken 165° F |
Ground Beef 160° F |
Ground Turkey 165° F |
Ground Pork 160° F
Bake the Green Beans
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Place green beans, 1 tsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for meatloaves), and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Spread into a single layer.
Cover with foil. Bake covered until green beans begin to soften, 10-12 minutes.
While green beans bake, make meatloaves.
Add the Potatoes and Meatloaves
Combine ground pork, panko, hatch chiles, chicken broth concentrate, and remaining garlic salt in a mixing bowl. Form into two evenly-sized meatloaves.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Push green beans to one upper corner. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.
Place mashed potatoes in empty space next to green beans. Place meatloaves in empty space in tray.
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Top meatloaves with BBQ sauce and green beans with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
