Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomato and cut into 1/4" dice.
Trim cucumber and cut into 1/4" dice.Break up seitan into crumbles. -
2 Make the Raita
In a mixing bowl, combine tzatziki, cucumber, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

3 Warm the Flatbreads
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Cooking in batches if necessary, add flatbreads to hot pan. Cook until warmed, 30-60 seconds per side.
Remove from burner. Wrap flatbreads in foil. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. -
4 Cook the Seitan
Return pan used to warm flatbreads to medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add seitan and chimichurri seasoning to hot pan. Stir occasionally until seitan starts to brown and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-8 minutes.Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling flatbread with seitan, raita, tomatoes, and cheese. Bon appétit!
