Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prep

    Chop carrots into large chunks

    Chop yukons into large chunks

    Rough chop pineapple

    Cook Potatoes and Carrots

    In a large nonstick pan over medium high heat, add 1 tsp olive oil. Toss potatoes and carrots with cajun seasoning. Add to hot pan and cook until browned on all sides, 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a prepared baking sheet and roast in a 400 oven until tender, 12-14 minutes.

    Cook Steak

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 1 tsp olive oil. Sprinkle .25 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper on the steaks. Saute until browned on both sides, 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to same baking sheet as potatoes and carrots and roast until done.

    Make Sauce

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 2 pats of butter and pineapples. Saute for 1 minute. Add bbq sauce and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
