Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Corn
Place corn in provided tray and top with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and a pinch of salt. Massage oil and seasonings into corn. Cover tray with foil.
Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.While corn bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add Pulled Pork and Finish Corn
Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.
After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Discard foil and push corn to one side of tray. Add pork, BBQ sauce, ketchup, 1 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt and pepper to empty side of tray and stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Cover tray with foil.Bake again covered until corn is tender and pork is heated through, 25-30 minutes.Carefully remove tray from oven. Discard foil and evenly spread 1/2 Tbsp. softened salted butter onto corn.While corn and pork bake, continue recipe. -
3 Heat Rolls, Assemble Slaw, and Finish Meal
Heat rolls to your preference using a toaster or microwave.
Alternatively, place rolls directly on rack in hot oven, cut-side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.While rolls heat, in a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, dressing, and a pinch of salt and pepper.To serve, top bottom roll with pork, then top roll. Bon appétit!
