Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain brisket and separate slices.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds.

    Remove rice from packaging. Combine rice, edamame, soy sauce, chicken base, and 2 Tbsp. water in one section of provided tray.

    Add brisket, BBQ sauce, and hoisin to empty section of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until rice and beef are heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Add Sriracha (to taste) to rice and thoroughly combine.

    To serve, top rice with beef and sauce and garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain brisket and separate slices.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds.

    Remove rice from packaging. Combine rice, edamame, soy sauce, chicken base, and 2 Tbsp. water in one section of provided tray.

    Add brisket, BBQ sauce, and hoisin in empty section of tray. Cover tray with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until heated through, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Add Sriracha (to taste) to rice and thoroughly combine.

    To serve, top rice with beef and sauce and garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
