Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Start the Broccoli
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.In provided tray, combine broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, minced garlic and chili pepper (to taste), and garlic salt.Bake uncovered in hot oven until broccoli turns bright green, 10-15 minutes.While broccoli bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Add the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Crush almonds in shipping bag.After 10-15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and push broccoli to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Transfer chicken to now-empty side of tray.Top chicken with honey, then crushed almonds, pressing gently to adhere. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until broccoli is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven.To serve, top chicken with chipotle crema and garnish broccoli with cheese and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
