Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    In provided tray, combine pasta, cream base, half the marinara (remaining is yours to use as you please!), peas, and tomatoes. Spread into an even layer.

    Add the Sausage

    Evenly top pasta with sausage, breaking into small pieces.

    Evenly top pasta mixture with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-27 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and stir to combine.

    To serve, top pasta with cheese and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
