Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry and stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes. If using scallops, pat dry and cook until scallops reach minimum internal temperature, 1-2 minutes per side. Scallops will vary in amount as they are portioned by weight. Don't worry, the sweet flavor and tender texture will be the same. If using shrimp, pat dry and cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side. Add to mac and cheese as desired.

1 Cook the Vegetables
If cauliflower florets are larger than 2", cut into 1” pieces.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add cauliflower and diced peppers to hot pan. Stir often until browned, 3-4 minutes.Add 2 Tbsp. water and Chesapeake seasoning. Cover and cook undisturbed until vegetables are fork-tender, 4-6 minutes. -
2 Add the Sauce
Add cream base, 1/4 tsp. salt, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until cheese has melted, 1-2 minutes.

3 Add the Pasta
Add pasta to hot pan. Stir often until pasta is coated and warmed through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. -
4 Prepare Green Onions and Finish Dish
Trim and thinly slice green onions.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping mac and cheese with remaining cheese, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and green onions. Bon appétit!
