Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Glaze

    In a small pot, combine the canned cranberry, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and mustard and simmer over low heat, about 5 minutes. Place sauce in a gravy boat or cup and set aside.

    Cook the Ham

    Preheat the oven 325 degrees and prepare a casserole dish with 1/4 cup of water in the bottom. Place ham slices in the prepared casserole dish, nestling slices in the water to maintain juiciness as the ham cooks. Cover the casserole dish and ham with foil. Place in the oven to warm for 15 minutes, or until ham is warmed throughout. Set aside.

    Plate the Dish

    Arrange cooked ham slices on a platter. Place a cup filled with the glaze next to the ham. Drizzle some of the glaze over the ham, if desired. Garnish with fresh parsley.
