A note about serious food allergies

This classic main dish will impress guests (even if it's just a party of one) with lean, smoky ham smothered in a sweet-and-savory glaze of maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, whole cranberries, and grainy mustard. Since the ham arrives to you already fully slow-cooked, this dish takes only 20 minutes to make.

  • 2 fl. oz. Apple Cider Vinegar

Recipe Steps

You Will Need

  • 1 Small Pan
  • 1 Small Oven-Safe Casserole Dish
  • Step 1 - Prepare the Glaze

    Prepare the Glaze

In a small pot, combine the canned cranberry, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and mustard and simmer over low heat, about 5 minutes. Place sauce in a gravy boat or cup and set aside.

  • Step 2 - Cook the Ham

    Cook the Ham

Preheat the oven 325 degrees and prepare a casserole dish with ¼ cup of water in the bottom. Place ham slices in the prepared casserole dish, nestling slices in the water to maintain juiciness as the ham cooks. Cover the casserole dish and ham with foil. Place in the oven to warm for 15 minutes, or until ham is warmed throughout. Set aside.

  • Step 3 - Plate the Dish

    Plate the Dish

Arrange cooked ham slices on a platter. Place a cup filled with the glaze next to the ham. Drizzle some of the glaze over the ham, if desired. Garnish with fresh parsley.
