Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Prepare The Ingredients
Trim cucumber and cut into 1/4" dice.
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips. -
Start The Meal
Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker, if desired. Fold top edges in before putting on lid.
Combine onions, cream cheese, and 1/4 cup water in a clean slow cooker.Top with chicken and garlic salt.Turn slow cooker on to low heat. Cover, and cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 4 hours. -
Heat The Flatbread
After 3 1/2 hours, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake in hot oven until flatbread edges are brown and crispy, 8-10 minutes.

Finish The Dish
After 4 hours, stir tomato sauce into slow cooker until combined and sauce is creamy.
