Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

  1. 1

    Cook the Vegetables

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add carrots and 1/4 cup water to hot pan.

Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, cover and cook until water is mostly evaporated and carrots are tender, 3-5 minutes.

Uncover and add Brussels sprouts and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir often until vegetables are slightly browned, 2-4 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add the Ground Pork

Add 1 tsp. olive oil, ground pork, Asian garlic, ginger and chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Asian garlic, ginger and chile seasoning.

Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add the Noodles

Add noodles and edamame to hot pan.

Stir occasionally until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Sauce and Finish Dish

Add yuzu dipping sauce, garlic sesame sauce, cashews, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan.

Stir occasionally until combined and noodles are coated, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
