Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Potatoes


    Cut potatoes into 8 wedges each. Place wedges on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes.

    Transfer to prepared baking sheet and spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 20 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, prepare ingredients.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

    In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup with sugar until no large clumps remain.

    Form the Meatloaves

    In another mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, white portions of green onions, panko, ricotta, garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Form mixture into two equally-sized ovals.

    Finish Potatoes and Bake Meatloaves

    After 20 minutes, remove potatoes from oven.

    Flip potatoes and push to one side of the baking sheet. Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add meatloaves to empty side of baking sheet and top evenly with ketchup mixture.

    Roast in hot oven until potatoes are tender and golden-brown and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping potatoes with cheese, sour cream, and green portions of green onions. Bon appetit!
