Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Start the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for steak strips), and a pinch of pepper. Spread into an even layer.Roast in hot oven, 20 minutes.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Add the Vegetables and Steak Strips
After 20 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Flip fries and push to one side of sheet. Evenly top with grated cheese. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.
Place steak strips on empty side of sheet, in an even layer. Evenly top with bell peppers, onions, and a pinch of salt. -
4 Finish the Fries, Steak Strips, and Vegetables
Roast in hot oven until fries are tender and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.Stir black pepper sauce (to taste) into steak and vegetables until coated.While fries, steak, and vegetables roast, continue recipe. -
5 Make Sauce and Finish Dish
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, white portions of green onions, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt. Microwave uncovered until cheeses are melted, 45-60 seconds.
Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Serve family-style, topping fries with steak strips and vegetables. Garnish with sauce and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
