Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook The Sausage

    "Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add 1 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage and seasoning blend to hot pan. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sauasge reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes."

    Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Vegetables

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 1 tsp olive oil and pepper mix. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 5-7 minutes. Add cooked sausage and toss to combine.

    Make The Slaw

    Add slaw mix and tzatziki sauce in a mixing bowl until completely combined.

    Heat The Flatbread and Finish The Dish

    Place flatbreads in microwave and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
