Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Quarter mushrooms. Cut potato into ¼" thick fries. Pat dry.

    Roast The Fries

    Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer and bake in hot oven until lightly browned, 15 minutes, tossing fries halfway through. After fries have cooked 15 minutes, carefully remove from oven and toss again. Bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes." While potatoes cook. prepare the burgers.

    Prepare The Burgers

    Form ground beef and half the garlic salt into two equally-sized patties. Season patties on both sides with remaining a pinch of salt and pepper." Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and coat generously with cooking spray. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred on one side, 4-6 minutes. Flip, top with cheese, and continue cooking until beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Transfer to plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Make The Topping

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 2 tsp olive oil, mushrooms, and remaining garlic salt. Cook, stirring often, until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes. Add cream cheese, and ¼ cup water and bring to a simmer. Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Toast The Buns and Finish The Dish

    Place buns in pan cut side down until lightly toasted, 1-2 minutes. Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping fries with truffle oil. Bon appétit!
